Default bindings for LXVII buttons

Figure 1 shows the active bindings for the main calculator buttons. Most single letter buttons can be accessed by typing the character legend on the button. Where there were conflicts, or the character could not be easily typed, the character shown can be substituted.


The default binding for any button can also be seen by hovering the mouse pointer over the button until the tool-tip message appears. The key binding is listed at the end of the message within square angle brackets. For example, the binding for the division button is shown as "[/]".


Key Mnemonics

The keybindings were chosen with the intent of making them relatively easy to remember, while realizing that the obvious letter would not always be available. The following list may help you remember the bindings by giving a reason why they were chosen.

T -  T otal for “Sigma” or “Sum”

G -  G o to

V -  V iew for “Display”

I -  I ndex

N -  N ext Step for “Single Step”

S -  S tore

R -  R ecall

J - (Only available letter.)

K -  K ilo for multiplying by powers of 10

Z -  Z ero for “Clear”

* - General multiplication symbol

/ - General division symbol

X - e X ecute for Run/Stop
