LXVII Help
LXVII User's Guide
Thank you for downloading LXVII, a calculator without equal.
LXVII (pronounced "67") is a programmable calculator for Mac OS X that is based on the classic Hewlett-Packard HP-67 calculator. “Programmable” means you can tell the calculator to remember and repeat a calculation any number of times.
It is also a document based calculator, which means you can save the state of the program when you exit. And, like all document based programs on the Mac, you can load multiple documents, that is, copiues of LXVII, at once.
If you are totally unfamiliar with the early Hewlett-Packard calculators and their Reverse Polish Notation (RPN) please refer to the user manual at hpcalc.org. The manual is over 500 pages, and while we don't expect you to read it from cover to cover, we do expect some familiarity with it and will refer to it in these help pages. Our short introduction to capabilities of the HP-67 is meant to show the differences between the HP-67 and LXVII. Being familiar with the HP-67 will help you get the most out of LXVII.
To summarize: For help with the HP-67, see the manual. For help specific to LXVII, and how it differs from the HP-67, please see these help topics:
